Plushgun is a project birthed in the cramped confines of Dan Ingala’s overpriced and undersized “bedroom” in New York City. While writing a song on his acoustic guitar, Dan had an idea: “what if I added some synths to this?” And synths he added, and this song is known today as “Just Impolite.” Dan incorporated the name Plushgun to this project, as in something soft, something killer.
“Just Impolite” hit Myspace in February of 2007, and in just months, through word of mouth, the project spread from one fan to another, the result was his first album "Pins and Panzers". Release of the band's second album "Memes" in 2012 again from the hand of Tommy Boy Records label.
Plushgun es un proyecto creado por Dan Ingala que nace en los estrechos confines de una pequeña y no poco claustrofóbica "habitación" en alquiler en la ciudad de Nueva York. Al escribir una canción en su guitarra acústica, Dan tuvo una idea: "¿qué pasa si he añadido algunos sintetizadores a esto?" Y sintetizadores añadió a esa canción es hoy se conoce como "Just Impolite". Dan incorporó el nombre de Plushgun a este proyecto, como algo blando, algo arrollador.
"Just Impolite" golpea Myspace en febrero de 2007, y en pocos meses, a través del boca a boca el proyecto se extiende sin límites, el resultado fue su primer álbum "Pins and Panzers". Lanzamiento del segundo álbum de la banda "memes" en 2012 de nuevo de la mano del sello Tommy Boy Records.
